Monitoring Platform Engineer

TAD is seeking a seasoned Monitoring Platform Engineer with 5+ years’ experience to join our audio-visual media and technology design-consulting firm. This individual will be responsible for the design, engineering, and end to end architecture of the various software elements used to provide our clients with a customized, cross-disciplinary monitoring solutions.
The position has a potential for advancement and offers many options for continuing personal development, as well as the opportunity to learn specialized knowledge from a well-established and diverse group of engineers, experienced designers, and product managers. The position also requires advanced technical subject matter experience and the ability to work closely with team members, vendors, clients and third-party contractors as required. The position will include, but is not limited to:

  • Plan, engineer and implement robust and cost-effective monitoring environments, exploiting emerging technologies to provide compelling solutions.
  • Maintain and improve our standards and evangelize good practice.
  • Manage the building of monitoring infrastructure service.

Work Experience

Education or work experience in control and monitoring platforms for audio-visual projects or experience deploying and managing for ScienceLogic platforms.

Architectural Designer · London

TAD is looking for a recent (~0-5yrs) graduate in the architecture / interior design field to join our media and technology design firm. Our work is done in coordination with top architectural design firms and largely follows the architectural processes and drawing standards although the focus will be on the role of technology and it’s integration in the built environment. The position will include, but is not limited to:

  • The design of spatial and programmatic narratives and concept visualizations that are representative of TAD’s brand.
  • Preparation of graphic presentation and schematic design documents.
  • Preparation of detailed plans and elevations, review drawings and provide coordination.
  • Architectural coordination with design team.
  • Field-surveying (including sites in the construction process).
  • Construction administration and commissioning.
  • Issuance of change orders, bulletins, and memos as needed.
  • Taking and enacting design direction from more experienced team members.
  • Contribute to design discussions at a basic level and provide design feedback and insights to the team based on a consideration of the larger design ambition

Architectural Designer · New York

TAD is looking for a qualified BIM Coordinator to support our internal BIM software use and processes while also supporting our team in document production and design representation. This person will be mainly responsible for the oversight of existing software and projects, and the continuing development of standards and training processes however project work will play a part in daily activity. Our work is largely done in coordination with top architectural design firms and follows the architectural process and drawing standards although is limited to audiovisual technology and infrastructure design. This position will include, but is not limited to: 

  • Support software products, including incorporating new version releases, customization, and troubleshooting of the product. 
  • Inform the implementation of supporting software for BIM and evaluate new BIM related software and technologies. 
  • Stay informed on best practices for use of BIM and related software and disseminate the information to appropriate teams. 
  • Develop, implement, and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards. 
  • Create and maintain of the software Template files. 
  • Provide support for plotting and electronic file submissions. 
  • Automate routines in BIM to support standards and productivity. 
  • Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards  
  • Liaison with national vendors, corporate technology support staff, software developer support staff and other support channels. 
  • Provide fundamental and intermediate Revit training, conduct internal continuing education Revit training sessions, and provide technical orientation to new hires regarding BIM tools and digital document distribution.

Creative Technology Producer/Project Manager

We are seeking a Software Project Manager/Producer to lead and track to success across a diverse range of projects ranging from complex audiovisual environments to immersive media activations in built environments.

The Project Manager/Producer works with key stakeholders – TAD internal, client, and partners or contract hires, to define project objectives, budgets, timelines, and outputs. You will manage projects according to the agreed upon frameworks, including both agile and traditional approaches, taking an active leadership role and creating an environment that fosters creativity, teamwork, and a drive for excellence.

You will own and maintain detailed project budgets including costs by phase/deliverable as well as project income/billables. Finally, as the Project Manager you will be able to identify issues proactively, resolve conflicts, and be able to quickly respond via adjustments to processes, milestones, and deliverables.   

Responsibilities
  • Act as project champion – advocate, drive, and ensure project goals are well defined and communicated, milestones are met (or realigned with stakeholders if needed), and work product is delivered at quality and on budget
  • Own the project plan, status, budgets, and backlog; present project progress, outcomes, opportunities, risks and resolutions, both internally and to our clients

Audiovisual Systems Engineer

TAD is seeking a Audiovisual Systems Engineer with 5-10 years’ experience to join our audiovisual media and technology design-consulting firm. This individual will be responsible for the design, engineering, and end to end architecture of audio/video conferencing solutions in corporate environments. The position has a large potential for continued growth, and offers continuing education, as well as the opportunity to learn advanced knowledge from a well-established and diverse group of engineers, experience designers and product managers. The position requires technical subject matter experience and the ability to work closely with team members, clients, and third-party contractors.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • The design of conferencing spaces including multi-purpose rooms, control rooms, operations centers, showrooms, cultural exhibits, auditoriums and light broadcast facilities.
  • Coordination with internal and external teams on design details such as: mounting, cooling, power, network architecture, low voltage requirements, and conduit designs.
  • Participate in design, assessment, and coordination with internal and external teams.

Marketing and Business Development Coordinator

TAD is seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist with organizing and streamlining our processes around client relations management, marketing material production; and proposal creation. This individual will work alongside firm leadership and will be principally responsible for managing our client management system and the proposal creation process from within the confines of an established communications strategy.

  • Planning, writing, and managing the execution of proposals in concert with our project leaders ranging in size and complexity from single page letters to multi-volume bound submissions while maintaining our brand standards.
  • Preparing presentations and interview materials for client interviews, speaking opportunities, and other engagements.
  • Updating and maintaining the website and social media channels.
  • Creating written and electronic marketing collateral include qualification packages, brochures, and unique communication pieces (press-releases, articles and newsletters as well as other copy).
  • Writing, organizing & maintaining project fact sheets, staff resumes and other project related data for ongoing use in marketing/business development efforts.
  • Updating and maintaining the client relationship management database.
  • Assisting technical staff members with writing articles for submission to various technical publications.
Education
