Immersive AV Applications demonstrate commitment to a Digital Experience

This client’s new Hudson Yards Headquarters is home to many reactive AV installations. Reactive, curved LEDs behind curved glass clad the interior of the feature staircase. As individuals move between floors, the content is triggered by sensors to flow around them.

When VIP visitors reach the 48th floor elevator lobby, they are welcomed by a ceiling decorated with programmable LED, meant to emulate a sky light. This feature sets the scene for the largescale, curved LED wall that resides on the floor, acting as an interactive brand showcase for the firm.

Another unseen aspect of this project is the network configuration. TAD designed the network infrastructure so that video can be sent to and coordinated across all 14 client occupied floors. Multiple 10 gigabyte uplinks allow for 4k Afrom the 6th floor to the 48th. Close coordination with manufacturers on the latest technology was necessary to support the immense bandwidth.

The newly implemented technology landscape serves as a celebration of this firm’s dedication to digital transformation.
