Throughout this engagement TAD worked closely with the architect, lighting and sound designers, and the client’s own software team, which allowed the client to propose a look and feel that fell within their brand guidelines. We used this information to select the appropriate content management system (CMS). The chosen CMS allows users to control lighting, audiovisual equipment, programs, and content from one location as one would in a live show. By working closely with the client, TAD was able to understand the business and workflow requirements and build an experience that matched their needs.
The innovation space is made up of the main ideation area surrounded by several breakout spaces. TAD designed two high resolution touch screens, one 4x4 LCD video wall, and in the main space, a one-of-a-kind ultra-short throw rear–projection blend that is nearly floor to ceiling. TAD engineered the glass screen into the curved ceilings of the existing architecture by building an offset frame that fit the screen into the ceiling cove, ensuring the correct pitch. The unique video wall is accompanied by two back-of-house, custom–built PC’s necessary to support the extra-large resolution and custom aspect-ratio.
This professional services firm is now able to materialize their unique business process in real-time workshops right in front of their client’s eyes.
